Manufacturing and delivering state-of-the-art Flight Training Devices (FTDs), their flight simulators take the standards of pilot training solutions to new heights. With a head office is based in Christchurch, they have an unlimited global market, and connections established in Australia, India, Argentina and USA, they are well known for innovation and flight training technology. They manufacture and deliver to international airlines, flight training schools, and universities in over 30 countries.

The role: 
As a Project Manager you will control complex manufacturing schedules, ensuring production will be on time and on budget. You will develop systems and lead processes to manage scheduling, inventory control, manufacturing, cost and quality of each Flight Training Device manufactured.     

  • Identify and implement project management systems and processes
  • Systematic approach to scheduling for on time deliverables
  • Optimise stock levels to maximise production efficiency
  • Ensure quality controls are developed and maintained
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and performance, focused on customer satisfaction
  • Support all stakeholders worldwide and are able to travel internationally at short notice   

Skills and experience:  

  • Solid Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with global stakeholders 
  • Strategic thinker, adept at analysing information into deliverable outcomes
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written, experience engaging with international clients 
  • Energetic team approach, proven commitment to on-time delivery
