The Company:

Manufacturing the world’s premium Medium Density Fibreboard, exported internationally to a wide range of customers, this company focuses on continuous improvement, quality and sustainability whilst proudly producing individual pieces in a sustainable manner.  They run a large and unique manufacturing plant based in the Waimakariri district, ten minutes north of Rangiora, set amongst the Canterbury Plains, operating 24/7/365.  The success of the business is driven by their core values of integrity, accountability, initiative and respect.

The Role:

This is a key role in the logistics team, helping to ensure supply chain deliverables meet offshore demands.  You will work with the Logistics Manager to help manage the shipping documentation process and respond to any documentation enquiries. 

  • Prepare and complete export shipping documentation; draft bills, Phyto certificates, custom export delivery orders, certificate of origin, and waybills
  • Manage customer enquires in a timely and articulate manner
  • Part-time:  Monday, Tuesday and Friday (with flexibility to cover staff absences and peak business periods)
  • Team focused, work collaboratively to manage shipments

Skills and experience:

  • Experience in export documentation or similar work that requires high levels of accuracy
  • Knowledge of logistic software or transport management system, SAP, ERP or PRODOC would be beneficial
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with good data entry skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills – English fluency is essential
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
